The event will take place on April 26 in the Palermo district, bringing Formula 1 action directly to fans in Argentina.

The Car and Circuit

Colapinto will drive the 2012 E20 Formula 1 car, originally raced under Lotus, now featuring Alpine’s modern livery.

Roads including Avenida del Libertador and Avenida Sarmiento will form a 2km temporary street circuit, hosting two official show runs.

Driver Reaction

Colapinto described the experience as one of the most emotional moments of his life, highlighting the importance of racing in front of his home fans.

He emphasized that the support he has received throughout his career continues to motivate him to achieve his goals in Formula 1.

Full Festival Experience

The event — Mercado Libre presents: Franco Colapinto Road Show Buenos Aires 2026 — will include:

  • Special guest appearances

F1 Calendar Context

The road show takes place during a short break in the 2026 Formula 1 season, with racing set to resume at the Miami Grand Prix in early May.
